Concert at Lakeshore Catholic to support mental health

May 10, 2017 Port Colborne Leader

PORT COLBORNE — Taking in some country tunes this weekend could do some good for a student in need.

This Saturday Lakeshore Catholic High School will host a concert in support of its student health and wellness centre.

“It’s a place for kids if they are going through a tough time,” explained show producer David Grand, noting all proceeds will support that worthy cause. As for the music the show will feature an opening act of Niagara catholic student musicians, followed by Niagara’s Spencer Burton. The headliner for the show will be the husband and wife duo of unBreakable, made up of Nashville artists Brian and Blake Nutter.

“Music is always a great way to get people out,” said Grand, noting audiences can expect some top notch performances, especially from Brian, whose guitar, keyboard and vocal skills have backed up some big name acts.

“Brian was Keith Urban’s main guy for like 10 years,” said Grand.

Beyond the music the show will feature a cash bar with offerings from 13th Street Winery and Brimstone Brewing Company. Food will be provided from the Smokin’ Buddha and The Black Sheep Lounge.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Doors open at 7 p.m.
